sha here

As we are trying to get the house together after the holidays, we will be a bit longer getting back to the blog full-force.  Today is the first day in a couple of weeks we've even been back in the workroom.  I did however finish a year long work on my "Grandmother's Flower Garden" and have it on my bed.  I slept under it for the first time last night and slept the sleep of angels.  My mother's "Cathedral" quilt is hanging above my bed so I was surrounded by finished hand work last night. It's a virtual explosion of color, very eclectic, but hey, that's me.   A wonderful feeling of accomplishment I might add.

There is absoltely nothing as satisfying as sleeping the first time under a quilt you have just finished. It is so beautiful Sha and I love seeing Mother's quilt hung above your bed hanging from the hanger Jim made. We are all so blessed to have talents that enhance our lives especially at this season of our lives. Love you guys

Absolutely Gorgeous... it must feel wonderful to snuggle down underneath your beautiful quilt with another beauty hanging behind you - I would not have been able to get to sleep from looking at them lol.

Thank you girls. I started quilting a piece for Al today. I'm in between quilts and am glad to have it to work on while I'm thinking on what kind of quilt to make next. Life is good.
