First Words

Al and I are going to have fun with this blog.  Think I have it where I can leave it for a while.  I'll mainly take care of the look of the blog and Al will write.  We will both write, but I love the design part of it and will try to keep it interesting and hopefully have people come back to it from time to time.  Stay tuned and we will be back.  We will post pictures of quilts and other things from time to time.  I am on the downhill run with my "Grandmothers Flower Garden" hexagon quilt.  I started it in January and hope to have it finished and on my bed before a year rolls around for it.  I do all hand piecing and hand quilting so I don't crank a quilt out very fast.  Getting close!!  A picture will be forth coming.
